Police are appealing for help to trace offenders who killed a pet goat and mutilated three others.
The horrific attack took place on a small holding in Church Lane, Kingsbury.
The animals’ owners discovered they had had intruders in one of the outbuildings on the small holding, where the goats were stabled at shortly before 10.30pm.
One of the four goats was dead, the attacker had hacked off both its horns possibly with a pair of secateurs. It had also been stabbed in the eye.
The three other goats in the shed suffered severe injuries including one with a gash along it’s spine, another had a gash around it’s neck and the third had had both horns removed and suffered stab injuries around it’s neck and eyes.
A vet was called to treat the injured animals immediately after they were discovered.
Police are working with the RSPCA in a bid to trace the offenders and appeal to anyone with any one who may have seen anything suspicious in the area of Church Lane , or who hears any information about the attack.
Anyone who can help police to trace the attackers is asked to contact PC Neil Pearsall at Coleshill Police Station on 01675 464444 voicemail 10477.

What happened to these goats was not just cruel beyond belief - it was also sick and deeply disturbing. “It was a horrific thing to do to some innocent goats. “It is impossible to imagine the suffering and terror caused to these animals. “The RSPCA is doing everything it can to help the police in their investigation. “We urge anyone who may have any information to call Warwickshire Police immediately.”
