New face at North Warwickshire

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 by David Wilding

Ann McLauchlan will be joining the Borough Council next month as the new Director for Community and Environment.

Amongst her responsibilities will be the Streetscape teams including grounds maintenance, refuse and recycling; Regulatory services including Borough Care and the Legal and Licensing teams; Community Development; Leisure Centres and Planning and Economic Development.

Ann, who previously worked for Tamworth Borough Council, says she is looking forward to new challenges:

“I really enjoy having a job that means I come face to face with residents as well as Councillors, people delivering services as well as volunteers and the all important teams who provide the back-up so it can all happen.”

Coventry born and bred, Ann now lives with her family in Arley. They contribute to the environment by growing their own veg, keeping half a dozen hens…and getting involved in the Arley allotments project!
