Atherstone Carnival, “We’ll Be Back Soon!”

Atherstone Carnival organisers were reluctantly forced to cancel this year’s event at the last minute.
The overnight torrential rain and further predicted downpours led to the cancellation on safety issues.
However unbowed and undefeated the carnival committee have vowed to stage the event “later in the year” and are already involved in organising a suitable date.

Thanks to the organising committee for their re-scheduling of the Atherstone Carnival the event was a great success and one of which they should be proud.
