Warwickshire’s newest visitor attraction, Dobbies World at Mancetter, near Atherstone, is offering locals and visitors the unusual opportunity to sponsor one of its

Attraction manager, Mark Wilkinson said: “We have had a lot of interest in our herd of 26 deer since we opened earlier in the year, with as many as 100 people turning up to see them being fed. It is great to see the expressions on people’s faces as they come so close to such majestic creatures. The daily deer feeding has proved so popular that we have decided to give our visitors the opportunity to adopt one of our deer.�?

“For only £15 people can sponsor any of our three species of deer,�? he added. “In return they will receive a certificate, a photograph of their deer, a birthday and Christmas card, as well as a newsletter providing information. The money raised from the sponsorship will go to providing winter feed and paying vet bills�?.
