For people looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift local author Christine Freeman will be signing copies of her books Images of Atherstone and Memories of Atherstone between 11am – 1pm on Saturday 17th March at Throckmorton’s Bookshop on Atherstone’s Market Square.

Peter Playdon, proprietor of Throckmorton’s, said:

“Christine’s books and our other local history titles are always very popular with local people – and with ex-Atherstonians all over the world. We always get a lot of interest at times like Mother’s Day, and this is a great opportunity for people to get a signed copy of a book which brings back a lot of memories and preserves our local heritage.”
