Language Help on Bus Routes

Saturday, March 10th, 2007 by Geoff Wilding

NEW multi-lingual leaflets are proving to be a hit for passengers on a key bus route between Atherstone, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Coventry.

Stagecoach in Warwickshire has put out the leaflet – in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi – on its Primeline 48 route.

The leaflet was put together following feed back from passengers and  is a first for bus services in Warwickshire.

The new leaflet contains information about where the route serves, how to catch the service and how frequently it runs.

Adam Rideout, marketing director for Stagecoach in Warwickshire, said: “We’ve received some really positive feedback since distributing the leaflet.”

Stagecoach is now considering introducing additional leaflets for other routes and services in Warwickshire
