The ancient tradition of selling grazing rights in and around the Parishes of Ratcliffe Culey and Witherley, dating back to the 18th century was carried out at The Gate Inn in Ratcliffe Culey on the 18th of April.

A large audience attended this famous annual event where a free buffet and entertainment was provided by Witherley Parish Council. The evening was rounded off by the singing of traditional and other songs.
