Atherstone FYEO

Have you ever wondered what things other local people search for in search engines like Google & Yahoo! ?

Well its possible to find out, and whilst the data source is most certainly not the most reliable it can make for an entertaining read.

Let’s be clear here this kind of data isn’t usually so publicly shared in this way, so remember this document is strictly Atherstone: FYEO….

The two most popular search terms made on the web during a 4 week period in spring this year, which related to Atherstone, are to be expected.

Its a shame that the local Atherstone Town FC website isn’t so regularly and well maintained as it once was, the club remains as popular online as ever.

atherstone fyeo’ popped in as the third most popular search term for Atherstone in this sample data.

atherstone fyeo…? Anyone? No me neither. Googling atherstone fyeo doesn’t tell us much either. The term FYEO on its own though is much more revealing! I thought it best to double check that one (see footnote) so I tried For Your Eyes Only. It would seem that either Atherstone has some sort of connection to the 1981 James Bond film, or the urban myth that is the Atherstone lap dancing club continues. I’m betting on the second option, though unfortunately the For Your Eyes Only website makes no mention of opening in Atherstone anytime soon.

Though it is possible that this result is a statistical blip (false result, one lonely desperate Google addicted lap dance loving man), for this sample datas month at least, this stat appears to be true! For four weeks around March April time the third most popular search term on the web that related to Atherstone was a non-existant lap dancing club!

atherstone fyeo outstripped all of the following search terms in popularity too:

Now comes a whole load of terms about beds, bedroom furniture, and leather beds. Someone went and nicked the name Atherstone for their line in bedroom furniture, damnit. If you’ve been lured, sorry I mean come here, looking for bedroom furniture or leather beds sorry but your out of luck, but Atherstone the town is fair more interesting anyway. Come spend your money in Atherstone and forget all about that leather bed, you’ve already got enough furniture anyway.

I’ll stop there as there aren’t anymore massively surprisingly ones, but if that has wet your appetite you can find the full list of most popular search terms over at Atherstone’s Most Wanted, a part of the site we intend over time to contain information about each of the popular topics.

Oh just one more thing before I go…

Dogging in Atherstone

In at number 77 and with little traffic we find this. Sorry but I just had to look. Dare you? Look out for kinkyman11 from Atherstone.

Footnote: Often the results from the used data source is grouped together, for example all the search’s for ‘atherstone fyeo’ and ‘Atherstone For Your Eyes Only’, would be grouped together as atherstone fyeo. Incidently this is the first time I have notice the term atherstone fyeo appear in this data.
