Atherstone Town Councillors have had a busy month debating and acting on several issues.

Traders have accused NWBC of petitioning them to have new windows installed at a jewellers shop on Long St. removed.
One of these traders wrote to The Recorder complaining of the actions allegedly carried out by planning officials.

HUNDREDS of workers at delivery firm TNT staged a protest rally against pay cuts which union leaders claim are crippling the workforce.
About 400 employees at the parcel delivery company marched through Atherstone Town centre on the 28th of September before demonstrating outside the firm’s head-quarters in Long Street.
