Atherstone’s annual fun day event was blessed with glorious weather today (2nd June) when a large crowd enjoyed the many attractions on offer.
After the official opening by the Borough Mayoress assisted by the deputy chairman of the Town Council, Atherstone Marching Band started proceedings with their usual polished performance.

Lane Setting Tradition Continues

Police bid for more Community Officers

Warwickshire Police have submitted a bid to the Home Office for an additional 40 Police Community Support Officers to join the existing 47 they already have in post. If successful this will boost the number of PCSO’s visibly patrolling Warwickshire’s towns and villages
