Hundreds of thousands of pounds are to be pumped into Pooley Country Park and Heritage Centre in North Warwickshire.
The park on the site of a former colliery near Polesworth has discovered it has been selected for inclusion in the National Coalfields Program, managed by the Government’s regeneration agency, English Partnerships.

From 13th May, The Sit-A-While Bookshop and Tearoom, Butler’s Book Emporium and Throckmorton’s Bookshop will be opening their doors on a Sunday for the summer.

North Warwickshire goes Blue
For the first time since it’s creation in 1974 the electors returned a Tory majority in North Warwickshire Borough . The Conservative party now have a working majority of 7 councillors.

Staff and visitors were evacuated from NWBC offices on Friday, April the 13th after an E-mail bomb threat .
Police confirmed that the message had been received at 9.15am and they then cordoned off the area to allow a full search of the building.
