Hundreds of thousands of pounds are to be pumped into Pooley Country Park and Heritage Centre in North Warwickshire.
The park on the site of a former colliery near Polesworth has discovered it has been selected for inclusion in the National Coalfields Program, managed by the Government’s regeneration agency, English Partnerships.

Hundreds of empty drinks cans were amongst the rubbish collected by the Borough Council’s Streetscape Team in a mass clean-up .

From 13th May, The Sit-A-While Bookshop and Tearoom, Butler’s Book Emporium and Throckmorton’s Bookshop will be opening their doors on a Sunday for the summer.

Ex- Atherstone Police Sergeant David Hunter is reported in regional newspapers as demanding action about the number of motorists who park on double yellow lines and footpaths in Atherstone.
