The George Eliot Hospital is all set to launch a new text reminder system aimed at cutting the amount of missed outpatient appointments at the hospital.

Hundreds of empty drinks cans were amongst the rubbish collected by the Borough Council’s Streetscape Team in a mass clean-up .

From 13th May, The Sit-A-While Bookshop and Tearoom, Butler’s Book Emporium and Throckmorton’s Bookshop will be opening their doors on a Sunday for the summer.

Ex- Atherstone Police Sergeant David Hunter is reported in regional newspapers as demanding action about the number of motorists who park on double yellow lines and footpaths in Atherstone.
